On request we will arrange open water swimming for the students at Tanjong Beach - Sentosa. Below some pictures from our first session in January.
All students/parents will be required to sign an indemnity form. The form can be found on the blog on download forms. All students will be required to wear a safety belt (open water swimming buoy) you can purchase your own. I have a couple which you can hire for $5 per session. The only people who do not need to wear are those who have done a session but you must wear the red or gold swim cap for safety can be bought and kept or $6.50.
Current students $25 per session.
Non or former students its $30 per session.
Must at least have Bronze and those under 12 must have a guardian present. All water activities are dangerous so I have chosen this location as it slightly protected and has two lifeguard stations at each end of the beach. If weather become dangerous this activity will be postponed or cancelled with out notice. Although we will try to inform participants.
Reminder all water is dangerous and there is no better protection than parental supervision. This activity like all water activities has its own risks. While we try to make it as safe as possible there are always factors out of our control.
